about Christmas time :)

Dear ladies and gents,

I have greatly missed you all greatly since my last post. I know you have been patiently awaiting to hear all my thoughts on the greatest holiday ever created. Christmas time never fails me. Since going to college it has always been the greatest time to come home and relax and see all those awesome people I've missed so much. This year my sis decided to grace us with her presence for only 10 days. Booo. Lame sauce. She clearly doesn't understand how much we love her presence. My sis, Samantha, and our friend Michael and me decided to become artists over break. Maybe I'll post you a picture or two when we're finished. Maybe, if you're lucky. I also tried my hand at the brilliant game of bowling. Oh yes bowling. I currently average about 30% of a perfect score. So basically I fail. Good thing I took Scuba and not bowling at State. Good call Jess. I'm going to visit Sasha baby with CC for New Years. I'm super duper excited. Possibly more excited for my ride down to Chi City with CC even more than the actual event of New Years. But of course, we shall see. K in the words of the great, wise, cuddly Tigger, TTFN!

Love you all my lovers!

...about my hopes and dreams.

Other people call these goals. Sometimes I'm like those other people but right now I prefer to call them hopes and dreams. Because they are exciting and eventful and I'm looking forward to them. These are just a few I've been thinking about a lot lately...

1) I want to scuba dive with sharks. I realize that this is scary and to be honest I am extremely afraid of getting bit by a shark. I don't think that would be the greatest experience in the world. But I do feel that swimming with them could be one of the coolest things in the universe.
2) Open swim. A race. Although with how long I've been out of the pool it would more likely be a race against myself to see if I can make it without dying first. There are a few local races in the Midwest but I'm more interested in Cali or Hawaii. Obviously.
3) After visiting Europe and falling in love with that place I did realize how many awesome places there are to visit in the US and I want to visit them. I want to see the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park and (I realize this is not the US-but close) Vancouver. I just love traveling.
4) Learn to speak Italian. At least understand it and get to the point of speaking where people don't laugh at you when you speak.
5) Be Greek. Not sorority greek. Real Greek. I think Greek's and their culture is the one of the most fascinating things ever (along with Lady Gaga).
6) Learn to do a handstand. And walk around on my hands. I don't feel that this one needs further explanation.
7) This is a newly acquired goal due to a coworkers dream. Evidently in the dream I was in a boat and guiding a crocodile behind me. I told him this was my crocodile that I train. I now want to be a crocodile trainer. I also want the idea behind the movie Inception to be real so I could have been inside that dream.

That's all I have for now. There is definitely more but that's what has been pressing on me for some time now. That is all of those except #6.

I'll leave you with the words of Walt Disney, "If you can dream it, you can do it."

Bye.
[I still need to come up with a unique send off.]

about music...

Sorry to my millions of followers for my lack of blogging since my last post a long time ago. You can read about one of my favorite topics today. Music. Music is incredible. It has the power to completely change my outlook on life in an instant. I can be in the worst mood of my life and music will reverse all the negative junk and restore my happiness. You might think this is a little bit excessive but in reality I think musicians have saved a lot of lives. Mainstream music is great but I love my friends who can find the new unknown music for me before it's popular. It makes me feel cool. Kind of like I'm in the cool kids club which I would never be allowed into. This is my new music obsession. Her name is Lissie and she will probably be really famous. But for now I have to say my favorite is still Mr. Joshua Radin. (who needs to add some MI shows PS). Alrighty...enjoy :)

Here's the thing...

I'm not quite sure how this blog thing works. Am I allowed to blog whatever, whenever I want because it's my blog or is there blog etiquette? I think I should be allowed to update my 0 followers on whatever I want as I am thinking about it. I think that shall be most effective and entertaining. Oh p.s. for the people who might someday want to read this nonsense I will be writing about it I apologize in advance for my spelling and incoherent thoughts. I am currently writing a paper I have been procrastinating on for about 2 months now that is due tomorrow. I prefer to wait to the last minute because it makes the most sense. I also just downloaded T-Swifts awesome new album but I must say it is not as country as I expect from her...but great nonetheless. Also, about 20 oz of caffeine are currently settling into my bloodstream. :) This means faster paper writing with hopefully few errors...we'll see. Oh also I dedicate this first blog post to Chelsea, Sasha and Nikki, oh and elephants because they are cool.
